I began working in a fine antique store when I was just 15 years old. It was there I discovered that I had a natural aptitude in three areas. Patience, persistence and attention to detail.

Over the decades I've been able to add skills and develop treatments in color matching, repairs and applying finishes of various types.

I like to operate in a clean and orderly fashion which lends itself well to on site service calls.

I started my business in 1983. I choose the name Wood Wizard because so many customers say "Wow. I can't even see where it was."

I have served in antique and fine furniture restoration for 35 years. My credentials include training from the Smithsonian Center for Materials Research and Education.

My passion is for repair and restoration of treasured heirlooms as wells as just good furnishings. Including architectural elements such as doors, stairs and cabinetry.
