I was a cabinet maker by trade when my boss retired. At that time, I had seven children to support. So I decided to set up shop and go into business for myself. I had experience in custom picture framing and worked with matching colors to pictures. I was always very handy with my hands and skilled in custom furniture making. I started Snyder's Chem Clean 37 years ago and now have two of my sons working with me. I have learned a lot over the years and we all love doing restoration work.

We here at Snyder's Chem Clean take pride in our work. We do stripping of wood and metal. We have done lots of work for the historical society on many different projects they are involved with. We strip windows, door, moldings, all types of furniture, We strip veneers with no problem. We can strip your fine antiques or the radiator from your old house.

We do repair work on some items nobody else would even try to do and to the amazement and customers satisfaction that we could get the job done and done right. We do chair regluing, spindle replacement, caning, reveneering, veneer repairs, furniture modifications. Drawer repairs. We can repair almost anything made of wood. We do hand wood carving or casting to match existing parts on you furniture.
